CCPT Pre-Doctoral Mentoring Programme
The Centre for Contemporary Political Theory works actively with candidates to support them in pursuit of scholarship funding for doctoral study.
To committed offer-holders, the Centre offers bursary funding for a visit to the university (including standard UK return rail fare and one night hotel accommodation in Leeds) to attend a CCPT research event and for dedicated time with Centre directors and/or prospective supervisors to identify scholarship opportunities and develop applications.
To be eligible for this opportunity you must have secured at least a verbal offer of a place on the POLIS PhD programme for an October 2025 start date either by 8th November 2024 for our 18th-19th November visit day or by 7th February 2025 for our 17th-18th February visit day. Also, at least one of your prospective supervisors must be a member of CCPT.
Whilst we are unfortunately unable to fund international travel, the opportunity is open to international candidates unable to self-fund travel via online participation.
