We're excited to share the programme of research events at CCPT this semester. We hope to see many of you there!

We are delighted to launch this year’s Pre-Doctoral Mentoring Programme, supporting candidates in pursuit of scholarship funding for doctoral study.

We are shocked and saddened to learn of the death of Jonathan Dean, a dear colleague and friend. His memory and legacy will remain with us.

Join us on 24 October for a roundtable conversation with Sanaa Seif and Nicola Pratt. We'll discuss Alaa El-Fattah's book of essays You Have Not Yet Been Defeated, his essayistic and political activism more generally and Sanaa Seif’s campaign for Alaa's release.

On 18 November, CCPT is convening a work-in-progress session with Derek Edyvane. Derek will talk about his new paper idea on Civilising the Digital Citizen. Join us!

Join us for an exciting lecture! On 24th March 2025, Professor Catriona McKinnon will come to talk to us about environmental ethics and climate justice.
